On every FMC Technologies AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle), there is a PC with hardware featuring the following items:

-Low Power Requirement, consuming less than 20 watts plus I/O needs (lamps, motors, relays, etc.) when fully operational.

- Low power Sleep Mode (less than 1 watt), which allows an Instant ON feature when needed)

- Unique IDC and MiniFit Jr. I/O connectors, eliminating all possibilities for wrong connections.

- Meets European Category 3 and 4 Safety Specifications

- Built-in Self-Test feature eliminates need for external test-fixture for vendor, customer, or in-house test purposes.

FMC Technologies utilizes a PC based AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) operating system. This system provides true network connectivity using the most advanced RF wireless networking. This network connectivity allows dynamic file downloading for updating or reconfiguring the system and uploading of vehicle generated files.
