| The Outrigger type AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle)
is an excellent choice for handling of pallets, racks, and rolls
in floor to floor transfers. On an outrigger vehicle, there
are two horizontal stabilizing legs (outriggers) to provide
lateral support. Typically the outriggers straddle the load
during the lift or lower cycle. Lift/Lower is available in electric
or hydraulic power. Standard capacity loads are up to 8,000
lb (3,600 kg). The dimensions of the outrigger vehicle vary
with the load weight, dimensions, and shape. |
