| The Forkover type AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle)
is an excellent choice for handling of europallets, wire baskets,
and other items with open bottom fork openings. On a forkover
vehicle, lifting forks are lowered directly over the stabilizing
legs. It can make tighter turns and move in narrower areas than
some other style vehicles, but there is no side bumper protection
at the load end with a load on board. Lift is available in electric
or hydraulic power. Standard capacity loads are up to 8,000
lb (3,600 kg). The dimensions of the forkover vehicle vary with
the load weight, dimensions, and shape. |
